The Events

We do not intend "re-inventing the wheel" and will be repeating many of the activities and events that took place at our first Thomas Adams Stay Awake - everyone seemed to enjoy them!

Once again, there will be three main types of events.

Special events

These will take place in the Main (Dining) Hall and include our versions of some popular TV shows such as "Who wants to be a millionaire" and the "X-Factor" (which we will be calling the W-Factor).

The inflatables!

The second type of event are the inflatables – in the Sports Hall.  How many people can say that they have been on a bouncy castle at 3 o’clock in the morning (unless you took part last time!)?  The 50ft long inflatable assault course will also return and there will be two other activities...one of which will be new!

Other events...

The other events, taking place in various classrooms, will include quizzes, competitions, computer games, bingo, etc.

Mini Brother (our version of Channel 4's "Big Brother") is also returning, running from 8am on the day of the Stay Awake, up until around midnight, for those contestants who last the distance.

I can also now confirm that the famous "gunge tank" will be returning!

The Christmas theme will also feature heavily in some of the above activities and events.

If you are a registered participant of the Stay Awake, you can login to find out more information about some of the above activities.
