Stay Awake 24 - The Experience
This year, Christmas comes early!
Welcome to Thomas Adams School's Stay Awake 24 website. This will be the second Stay
Awake event to be held at the school in Wem and follows on from the huge
success of our first event, in 2008, when an incredible £9594.93 was raised!
Final registration window now open...
If you are a pupil in Years 7, 8 or 9 at Thomas Adams School and wish to take
part in this event, this is your very final opportunity to sign up. The
deadline is Friday 17th September, so make sure that you collect a letter from
me at school as soon as term starts, register online and then return the letter
before this final deadline.
Website fully updated...
If you are already a registered participant, sign in to read all the latest
information about the event. The site was fully updated on 1st September.
What the event is all about...
Pupils are being sponsored to 'stay awake' for 24 hours, starting at 8a.m. on
Friday 5th November. They will come to school as usual on the day, go
home (and not sleep!) and then return to school in the evening for a night of
entertainment and activities.
Some of the money raised will be donated to Children in Need, with the remainder
spent on school projects. We aim to raise at least £7500 in a single day!
Potential sponsors...we need you!
If you have received a letter from us, or are interested in supporting
the event, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please visit the link
on the right hand side under 'Sponsorship' called 'I Want To Help' for more
details.
